ONE MILLION WAYS TO DIE IN THE WEST by Seth MacFarlane

ONE MILLION WAYS TO DIE IN THE WEST

A marriage of the classic western comedy BLAZING SADDLES and MacFarlane’s own signature FAMILY GUY humor, this is an utterly hilarious (sometimes gratifyingly disgusting and vulgar) Western that keeps you laughing at every turn of the page.

For fans of other comedic and satirical writers such as David Sedaris, Gary Shteyngart, Christopher Moore, David Rakoff, and Chuck Palahniuk.

A MILLION WAYS TO DIE will also be a movie of the same name (which Seth directed and co-wrote). It will star Charlize Theron, Liam Neeson, Amanda Seyfried, Sarah Silverman, Giovanni Ribisi and Neil Patrick Harris. Universal Pictures, who were responsible for the blockbuster TED – the world’s highest grossing R-rated movie of all time – will be releasing A MILLION WAYS TO DIE IN THE WEST in May 2014. You can read more about this movie here.

Albert Stark is a coward of the West. A man who hates the dangers of the Frontier. But, of course, that doesn’t mean he can avoid them. He lives in the little, dusty desert town of Old Stump and works as a lowly sheep farmer – and not a particularly good one at that. But there are some positives in his life that make his existence a little more bearable. His beautiful girlfriend, Louise, has all her teeth, and his best friend, Edward, is loyal - if a little stupid. Life could be worse. But when he refuses to fight local brute, Charlie Blanche, in a typical Western showdown (instead offering to sell his sheep and pay him off), and Louise unceremoniously dumps him for his cowardice, his life begins to change. When a beautiful and mysterious woman rides into town, quickly followed by the most notorious gunslinger in the West, Albert is forced to find courage and take action.
